Gosh when you showed the inside of that 777 I couldn't believe how big it was! I enjoyed your thoughts on having to get used to a new plane and not having the comfort of knowing where everything is. I believe many can relate to that no matter what job they have. I found myself studying for a new career and wow it was very hard to be a beginner again. BTW I have also gotten so lost in that Manhattan village!

I just said that the other day, my surf shack is smaller than probably any hotel room in Waikiki. BUT I am oceanfront and get to fall asleep and wake up to ocean sounds! And stare at the ocean from my bed.

Hey I'm from Oahu too and now live on the east coast. How do you commute while living in Hawaii? Don't they give you short notice before you have to go to work? And how often do u have to fly to Colorado to work a trip? When do you know it's okay to go back to Hawaii? What if your commuter flight to Colorado gets delayed and you miss work? Do u have to pay out of pocket for tge commuter flight or do you fly standby?
